Big Dreams

This painting is for a truly inspirational woman who hasn’t let the past beat her down. A true lioness she fought for her children despite greater forces of foreign countries and a monied family. She encourages and trains her classes here in Spain with humour and kindness (yet won’t let us give up). Over the years I’ve seen her confidence and sense of worth grow. She is so much stronger mentally and physically now, and we applaud her tenacity.

Her dreams for her kids are big and filled with love and optimism. It is what’s kept her going.

I wanted to paint a piece that is calm yet full of strength. Vibrant blues bring her joy and many happy memories. I hope it will provide a sense of peace and calm if the going gets tough. There is nothing wrong with Big Dreams of love and happiness, security and peace for your family. We all need Big Dreams.
